# Quaoar
The possibly tenth planet, maybe Kuiper Belt object, Quaoar, is named after the creation force of the Tongva Indians, original (for the nth case of Original, i am sure) inhabitants of the Los Angeles area. Apparantly this is because IAU has a rule that all objects discovered beyond Pluto be named after Creation dieties. If we discover another rock out there, can we lobby to name it UL?
Failing that, lets all just laugh at the astrology people, for now they have yet another solar-orbiting body to steadfastly ignore.
Okay, okay, my final piece of insanity…it sounds like a guy checking out a hot chick…quaoar, check out the insubstantial gravitational effect on that one!
Kwah-o-ar is the real pronunciation, by the way.

You evil, boy. I'm in the computer lab, and do you have any idea how hard it is to explain this post to the people who want to know why I just fell off my chair laughing?
