My left ear got infected again just before Christmas. You know, the perfect time to get sick cause all the doctors have just left for their holidays on the Sunshine Coast? Lucky my GP was still in town and on duty. The ear, nose and throat surgeon I saw last time my ear was infected was basically unavailable until February…"Would you like an appointment", "Well, it feels like someone is boring into my head with a wickedly jagged drill, so maybe I shall look elsewhere."
Funny how when I went to my GP and he called the specialist, it was all "send him over". Anyway, to summarise, sore left ear.
Then I went and broke the bottom wisdom tooth on my left side. I am going to the dentist on the weekend to get it pulled out, but the left side of my face hurts, and I can't quite work out if the ear has flared up again or not. I wish one or the other had been on the right side :- )
And I need a KVM switch. I'm tired of reaching behind the computers and swapping the keyboard, mouse and monitor from one to the other when an shell session isn't enough.

No, I'm not doing it. Not while the actual pod is priced out of my reach. I was just reading Tim Bray's post on podcasting (wikipedia) and noted something he said.
