# re: When Old Kent Road became Piccadilly, move to the 'gong

Well I can see you have thought about it a lot. Having seen all this happening in the US, before we left, I can see where it is going as well. We tried to sell a three bedroom flat close to the shops and major freeways. Recently renovated. New kitchen and all new super insulated windows and a energy efficient air con for the sultry Atlanta Summer. And people thought it was lovely. But the bank would lend them more. A lot more so they bought something more expensive – and further out of town WTF?

And we’re also selling up the Star and moving into town. Bright lights baby – here we come!
