# I'm Lovan it!

I was back at the doctor today. The ear. Again. Apparantly I have a sexually transmitted disease in my ear. I kid you not. Anyway, he gave me the above. Well, first he asked what it was, and then when I explained to him the vast, vast, vaaast uselessness of a lamp powered via a USB port, he told me to take it.
I am told that Lovan is a brand of anti-depressant. When I take this to work tomorrow, I plan to tell people that I earned enough points for it in their Frequent Pharmaceuticals program.

  There are clip-on USB powered lamps that are quite nifty when attached to a laptop in the dark, if you cant see the keyboard ( who looks at the KB to type anyway? ), they can really help..
  
  Some Hyundai branded Desktop machines also come with USB powered speakers. Whether or not these are any better than speakers that are just driven through the standard audio cable is anyone's guess…
  
  ...come to think of it, the USB power may just be lighting the on/off LED…

    They'd have to be very tinny speakers indeed if they were being powered off what little juice USB provides
